Name: Joe Moreaux - Drums
Member since: Easter, 2006
Saint Name: Nicholas, although more popularly known as Santa Claus, he was really a faithful and loyal bishop of the Church, and a very humble servant of God who used his inherited wealth to help those less fortunate than him. One legend also says he punched out the heretic Arius at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD because he got fed up hearing Arius spread blasphemous heresies about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Job: Disguised as an insurance clerk by day, in reality I am a full time evangelist devoted to the service of God through spreading His Word to a world that has largely ignored it. I am also currently writing my first book, Catholic Without Compromise.
Education: currently taking college courses to obtain a B.A. in Theology
Favorite Bands: I try to stick solely to Christian music these days, since Satan can easily devour others through some of the secular music that is prevalent today. I love heavy music with a Christian message, so for me these are the best right now: Demon Hunter, Becoming the Archetype, Haste the Day, As I Lay Dying, Disciple, Norma Jean, P.O.D. My largest influences growing up were Metallica and The Beatles. Avenged Sevenfold is amazing to me, as well.
Quote of the Month: "We fear no one but God, amen! I am not afraid of the antichrist- the only one I fear is God, and I hate sin, because sin will take me away from God. If I am in Christ, if I am receiving the Sacraments under the protection of Pope John Paul II, I am faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium on morality as well as faith, then there is no demon, no devil, no antichrist, no power anywhere that can take me away from my faith!" -Tim Staples, St. Joseph's Family Conference, 2004
Parish: Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Pacoima, CA
Favorite Prayer: Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel; Chaplet of Divine Mercy; Rosary to Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Favorite Movies: The Passion of the Christ, Miracle of Our Lady at Fatima, the Rocky movies, the Indiana Jones trilogy, Cinderella Man, The Ten Commandments, Jesus of Nazareth, Pirates of the Caribbean. Satan has had a big impact in our world the last few decades through the movie industry. As such, I try to be very cautious, careful, and prayerful with what I watch.
Favorite TV Shows: Life is Worth Living with Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
Favorite Books: Salt of the Earth by Cardinal Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI), Crossing the Threshold of Hope by Pope John Paul II, Deliver Us From Evil by Sean Hannity, Catholicism and Fundamentalism by Karl Keating, Upon This Rock by Stephen Ray, Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, Imitation of Christ by Thomas A Kempis, More Than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell, Evidence That Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell, Fundamentals of the Faith by Peter Kreeft
Favorite Food: meatball sandwiches, spaghetti, pretty much anything Italian
Fun Fact: Married on November 12, 2004, to the beautiful Carolanne, a faithful daughter of the Church and a tremendous warrior for Christ. Have been drumming since I was roughly 10 years old. I have played for Second Generation (oldies cover band), Win-A-Bagel (ska band), In Your Hands (punk band), Lost Hope (metal band), and Intrinsic (fusion rock band). I am involved with Youth Ministry and music ministry at my parish.
