Background
This is the first song that Dan and Mike collaborated lyrically. Mary is our one true Mother, who knows sorrow better than any of us ever will. She also knows love as none of us will. Thus, we should turn to her for comfort in our sufferings and for guidance to true love, our Lord Jesus.
